Adhiti's Pediatric Achievements
About the Cause
Many moms and babies in the U.S. face serious health problems. Babies do not always get the care they need, and moms do not always get help after giving birth. Adhiti is working to fix these problems by speaking up, researching, and helping families. Her work supports SB 986 (An Act Protecting Maternal Health) and HB 5003 (An Act Concerning Child and Family Nutrition) to improve health care and nutrition for moms and babies.
Why This Matters?

Many moms and babies in the U.S. face serious health problems. Babies do not always get the care they need, and moms do not always get help after giving birth.
01
Baby Death Rate
The U.S. has a higher baby death rate than many other countries.
03
Not enough support
Moms do not get enough help after giving birth, making it harder for them to recover and care for their baby.
02
Shortage of medical supplies
Hospitals don’t always have enough medicines and equipment for babies.
04
Health records
Health records for pregnant moms are not shared well, making research and treatment harder.
